Hi,

I have site that has been upgraded from DNN 5.1 to DNN 5.6.1. If I got my site www.mysite.com/index.htm or anyother url that does not exist it automatically creates a portal alias. I tried this on fresh 5.6.1 install and I do not see that problem only on my upgraded site.

Does anyone have any idea what could be the problem. I can send site info provately to anyone n the core if you want to take look at it. Otherwise please advise any solution. I have windows server 2008 R2 and SQL server 2008.

Thanks,

I have no idea what that is but i have that problem also.

Checking my portal alias, i see:

www.costaszividis.gr/secure

www.costaszividis.gr/blog

www.costaszividis.gr/entryid/14

Those make no sense to me and they were made automatically i guess.

It is DNN bug. It will be fixed on DNN 5.6.2. Everytime there is a request of page that does not exist it creates a portal alias for the 404 request.
