hello, i have had to format my pc and reinstall w7 and vs2010.  before do that,
i had a project of dnn560 running under vs2010 and usign database.mdf file on app_data directory
the fact is that now when i try to run thisiproject, dnn run into install mode.

i try to open the database file from vs2010 and i get this error.
"is not posible to creata a user instace of Sql Server because
an err trying to init the process for the user instance. the conection will be closed"

i solved it by modifying the conection opctions an setting the "user instance" to false.
i dont know if the problem to dnn will be the same but the true is that idont know how
to solve it  and how to continue.
thanks.

Using database.mdf is not a good way to go - running dnn using the mdf file is really there as a way to do a quick setup for a demo purposes.

Instead - install ms sql 2008 express on your machine and setup dnn to work off a database managed that way - you also have proper assess to management of the database thru ms sql management tools - and vs2010 works without the need to messy work arounds.
