I've created a website for which I want to give my customers the opportunity two approve changes before they are published. I have defined a User Role 'Bestuurslid' for it.

There is a Content Staging-option for the basic Text/HTML-module. Changes made in a text are not public untill the 'Publish' option is checked.

Is it possible to give the 'Bestuurslid'-users the option to view the changes, or is this only possible for adminitrators?

If the latter is true, I would have to give my customers an administrator-login to approve the changes in the text, and I definitely don't want to do this!

It probably isn't exactly what you are looking for, but here is a solution I created:

I imagine a module could be created that you could add to a page to "publish" the changes immediately.  Hmmm... I think I'll have to get working on that :)

Another way to do it would to create a content staging page that only certain roles can see. Publish the changes there first for them to see. If approved just copy the module to the correct page or cut & past etc..

Not the most efficient but it works and is easy enough to do.
