I am working on adding new files to my site. In one of the folders, even though I keep trying to set the permissions to a green for only subscribers, a big red X comes up for ALL USERS ,so when I login as a subscriber I am unable to see those modules and files. I have tried logging out and back in to fix the permissions for these folders, but it will not allow me. There are about twelve sub-folders under this folder too. NONE of the content on those pages can be seen by subscribers. PLEASE HELP!!!

I have my settings for most of the files set to NO check in all users, no check in Registered users, CHECK in subscribers, X for unauthenticated users...this is for the OPEN FILES column. All others are set to X for browsing and write to (other than admin).

PLEASE HELP!

Thank you so much for your replys!

Deb

I did find a workaround for this. I simply unchecked all red X, then saved, then went back and rechecked. That seemed to do the trick.
