I imported 100 users from a CSV file into the USERS table in DNN but don't see them in the list of users when I log in to manage the site. Is there something else that needs to be done beyond just importing the users to the table?

In addition to the DNN Users table the following tables must be correctly populated with data that satisfies various foreign key relationships between table columns when adding a user:

aspnet_Membership
aspnet_Users
UserPortals
UserProfile
UserRoles

Because of the complexity of the SQL involved it is generally best if users be created in code  using the various API calls provided in the UserController and other related classes.

A search for user import or bulk user import on Snowcovered.com will turn up a number of modules designed for  exporting to and importing users from CSV and other files. The DataSprings user import module is one of the most popular ones. John Mitchell did have a set of SQL scripts available on his website for user import but as far as I can recall, those were for DNN 4.x only and would not work in DNN 5.x which introduced the UserPortals table among other changes.
