The latest of the PackFlash Video Module (version 2.1) includes the following features:

• Mobile device support including legacy iPhones and iPods as well as newer iOS devices such as the iPhone4 and iPad. Videos will be encoded in mp4 file format. If the browser supports flash, the video will play with the flash player in tact. If flash is not available, the system will fallback to mp4 format.
• Administrators can choose to encode videos with up to 3 quality levels - 480p (640x480 resolution video), 720p (1280x720 resolution video) and 1080p (1920x1080 resolution video). The system will choose the lowest resolution as the default to preserve bandwidth and provide as much device support as possible. The user will be presented with the other video options for them to choose to play if they would like a higher quality video. This feature allows the site to support mobile devices, but prevents them the site from having to sacrifice the quality of the video. NOTE: The source of the video determine the quality that can be achieved during the conversion process.
• Videos can be sent directly to the player using a URL from a site or streaming service.
• The background of the video can now be set for each player module.
• Enhanced capabilities for fit/scale that doesn't distort default images and videos if chosen
