I am running VS 2008 on WIndows 7. I just installed the DNN starter kit.
I can see the DNN templates under My Templates.
When I try to add a DNN skin item in VS I get the error message "value does not fall within the expected range".
Does anyone know what is causing this?

I'm having the exact same problem. When I try to create a new file using DotNetNuke Dynamic Module template I get the "Value does not fall within the expected range" error.

I run Visual Web Developer 2010 on Windows 7 and have installed the Visual Studio Starter Kit 6.0.2

Did anyone solve this problem?

I have solved the problem myself.

The problem was, that the permission on my dotnetnuke folder for User was read only. I have changed this to Full Control and now it all works just fine.

But I must say that the error message was a bit confusing.....!!!
