Using DNN 5.6.1, you can add a new page and select the page to be pre-populated with a single TEXT/HTML.  So far, from what i can tell... it looks like you can only ad 1 of these modules at a time and not multiple as you are creating a page.

My question is, How do you add a page with MULTIPLE PANES pre-populated with Text/HTML modules and not just 1 content pane populated. Otherwise you have an inexperienced admin trying to add additional TEXT/HTML modules to various panes and you as the Super User really just want to give them the ability to Add a page that is pre-populated with multiple TEXT/HTML of pre-selected panes... this way it also keeps the admin from trying to guess which is the right pane to add their Text/HTML module.

Is there a way to do this? Is there something i could add to my template in the content panes?

Otherwise my work-a-round is just giving them a pre-made page and tell them to Copy existing page... but this opens the door for transposed text errors.... please advise.

Thanks

Hi Reginald

DNN can do this and it is quite simple.

Make a page with the content and modules you need.
Go to the control panel and, in the pages section, choose Export Template.

When adding a new page the third drop down (in new page settings) allows you to select a template for the page.

I have not done this for a while but remember that some modules (such as the docs) simple install blank new instances and so may need a bit of attention the the settings.

The thing to do is test and try out for your requirements.
