hi

i'm a little confused, i have a dnn site project that i'm working on in vs2008 enviourment
and the database in sqlexpress 2005 .
all works fine while i'm working in vs2008 enviourment, i can see the site and get data from databse.

when i try to move the project to iis wwwroot and setting everything like it should (permissions, default document etc)
and write the address http://localhost/DNN (DNN is the name of the directory in wwwroot)
it delivers me to the install wizard,  y? shouldnt i see the home page (default.aspx)?

Did you set the portal alias in your DB? There is a table in there called PortalAlias. Make sure the first row is populated withg the proper domain.

Also make sure your directory in IIS is an applicatiion not a virtual directory, with .NET 2.0 selected.

Thank you,
