I just now went to your site and found your Gallery. It appears to be working at the moment so I suspect that there may be an issue with an invalid character in one of the album or file names.

It also appears that this is an older version of Gallery than the current version 4.3.3.

The error is occuring in the DotNetNuke Gallery module and is somewhat of a generic error, most likely due to its inability to either decode the url encoded path passed in the querystring or an unexpected character found in the path after it has been decoded. If you are using a right-to-left language, I'm not sure that Gallery can handle it.

Which version of Gallery is installed?

What version of DotNetNuke is installed?

the version of DotNetNuke is 4.8.3 but there is 2 more things, I forgot to say that i found out that when this error happens by refreshing a dll file(any dll) portal become OK. and i see the event viewer just after the error, i found this message that i think is the reason:

Host Alert
EventQueue.ProcessMessage: Message Processing Failed
ProcessorType: DotNetNuke.Entities.Modules.EventMessageProcessor, DotNetNuke
Body:
Sender:
BusinessControllerClass: YourCompany.Modules.EduChangeUsername.EduChangeUsernameController
DesktopModuleId: 99
UpgradeVersionsList: 01.00.00
ExceptionMessage: Value cannot be null. Parameter name: type
نام سرور: DORHOST

and about the MediaGallery the version is 3.1.12
Thanks a lot.

Did you read "Host Alert Message" from my last post?
about the Gallery You are right, i found an space character in URL but i dont know which part has caused it.
I shoud Add that after when  the Main error page occures because of the Gallery, by clicking on the back button the site is OK ,
but my problem is some other times that the site does not load and again show that error page with the different  part :
Requested URL: /Default.aspx

The error which you posted is occuring in a third-party or custom module "EduChangeUsername" so I'm afraid that without seeing the source code I cannot help you there. If it is a third-party module I would suggest you contact the vendor or developer.

Regarding the Gallery module returning a 404 "not found" error when a space (which gets encoded to a "+") appears in the album path in the url address, that was a known error in Gallery 3.1.12. As I recall, some users had reported that they could work around it by turning off Friendly Urls in Host Settings.

An upgrade of Gallery to the current 4.3.3 release would fix that and many other gallery issues. HOWEVER, Gallery 4.3.3 requires DotNetNue 4.9.3 and later so it would be necessary to first upgrade the site to DotNetNuke 4.9.5 or later. Due to some security issues, the upgrade of the DotNetNuke framework to 4.9.5 or 5.6.2 is recommended anyway. If you do decide to upgrade, make sure that you first create good backups of BOTH the file system AND the database incase there should be problems in doing the upgrade. Also, if upgradeing to 5.6.2 first upgrade to 4.9.5 then 5.4.4 then to 5.6.2 taking care to resolve any issues with incompatible module versions, etc. along the way. Take a close look at the upgrade instructions in the DotNetNuke Wiki and other sources before starting.
