The site that I am working on has several roles that are very long in name.
That said, the dropdownlist (I believe called "SecurityRoles_cboRoles") on the "Manage Roles for User" page does not increase in size and many of the roles full names are cut off from view.

How can I increase the width of this DropDown so that all of the roles' names can be read?

You can increase the width of any combo box using either CSS, jQuery, or a combination of the two. Either way, you'd be using a CSS selector, and would perform this like:

#SecurityRoles_cboRoles { width: 500px; }

jQuery('#SecurityRoles_cboRoles').css('width', '500px');

According to the displaying page's source code, this is shown:

 <select name="dnn$ctr355$SecurityRoles$cboRoles" onchange=" setTimeout('__doPostBack(\'dnn$ctr355$SecurityRoles$cboRoles\',\'\')', 0)" id="dnn_ctr355_SecurityRoles_cboRoles" class="NormalTextBox" style="width:100%;">

In Firefox, I can see the names of all the security roles (at full length) if I expand the dropdownlist.
However, in Internet Explorer, the length of the security role dropdownlist's width is static and I cannot read the names of all of the security roles.

Is there a way I can fix that?
