In addition to trying to understand what direction DNN is moving in with the editor to ensure that anything that I introduce to the site will be in keeping with the core direction - Does the enhanced editor correct the identified issue with the Document Manger and Image Manager?  I have only seen the suggestion to try this new editor not that the issue has been identified and this has been confirmed as the correction until ... If it does correct this identified issue are there instructions on how to load an apply this menu on the DNN site? Can you provide links to the documentation and the editor to ensure that we are getting the correct solution.

Thanks,
Judy

I suggest using improved dnnWerk RAD editor provider from radeditor.codeplex.com

I HAVE installed the dnnWerk editor and it has exactly the same problem as the standard Radeditor in 5.6.2: if you use custom stylesheets (editor.css) it looks pretty in preview, but it has default formatting whatsoever when saved and rendered. I notice that no one from DNN has addressed this thread. Is that SOP?

It is very disappointing that no one from DNN is responding to specific questions about a core piece of functionality.

Dare I say it? It seems to me that the Pay For Service versions (Professional, Enterprise) of DNN command the attention of the developers. If the commercial customer has to weed through the kind of documentation that the community users have to endure, I suspect that DNN would not be a viable commercial product. Maybe the core for all three platforms is the same code with the same problems, but I doubt it.

All conspiracy theories and paranoia aside, you should check out Will Strohl's blog post about the Image manager bug from last week

As for our professional edition customers, they have access to our support team and the ability to open tickets. Community members have the forums, twitter, blogs, etc. But no guarantee that something will be answered. That is the way DNN has always been, we all have jobs and things to do, we can't read and reply to every forum post made.
