I want to upload rar file in gallery. (using 04.03.03)
I have added  rar in  Allowable File Extensions in Host -> Host Setings in Other settings and Restart Application.
Still got error message that .rar file is not supported.

Upload of a .rar archive is not supported by the Gallery module - only upload of individual media files and .zip archive files.

Thanks a lot William.
I followed the procedure:
Created folder containing image files (JPEG).
right click on folder and selected add to archive -> in that selected archive format as ZIP (archive name and parameter) click OK
Got the error .: zip is not an acceptable file type when uploaded zip file.
Allowable file extension contains 'zip' in Host -> Host setting.

Do I correctly understand that the .zip file contains a folder into which you placed your image files? If so, that may be the problem as I recall that the image files must be located in the root of the .zip archive and not inside of a child folder of the archive.

You are right, my image files are into folder and that folder is archived.Single image file converted into zip archive and uploaded then upload is successful. i am looking for bulk upload in Gallery module. Kindly let me know is that possible with gallery module else guide me for other module which supports bulk upload.
