Hi,

On a Website with DNN 5.6.0 (1 Portal only) are appearing more Alias unknown. We have not added any of these aliases.

I've changed all the passwords and checked the permissions on user accounts.

What I can do?

Kind Regards!

The introduction of automatic portal alias mapping (for single portal installations) in DNN 5.6.0 unfortunately introduced many such issues as this. If you look closely at the aliases you will most likely see that they are for site resources such as skin image files, web service calls, etc. An upgrade to the just released DNN 5.6.2 should correct this issue or at least allow you to disable automatic portal alias mapping.

When upgrading, don't forget to first make filesystem and database backups just in case there is an issue with the upgrade. You will also want to delete all of the invalid portal aliases.

you need to remove the additional aliases manually, but you are now able to turn auto portal creation off.

Hi Sebastian,

I have that option disabled. Every day I remove the urls (wowlegendserver.no-ip.biz) in Alias but these urls appear again the next day or several hours later. I do not know what to do!

King regards!
