HI Guys,

I hope this is the correct place to put this as I could really do with some help.

I have 3 questions and if you could answer anyone of them please let me know

Just so you know where I am up to.
I have built a module with its buttons and its commands and everything is working fine. However to finish it off I need to figure these issues out.

1/ Where are the following controls/code hidden/located,
admin and host menu items and the code to hide or show them dependent on the user.
control panel - As I wish to replace this and add in some new features.
SiteWizard code.

2/ Is there some code I can write that would allow my module to remove the admin and host menu items on install.

3/ Can some one point me in the direction of where I can find some code to build a login module within my module so if an unregistered user ends up on the page they only see the login not the contents of the module.

I maybe over engineering what I am doing but I am trying to make DNN Easier to use for my end users.
And the Easier I make it the less support calls I receive.

If anyone can point me in the right direction that would be great.

Thanks
Paul

Hi Paul,

Regarding point 1 and 2 I think you want to hide some part of dotnetnuke site which is not really suggested by dotnetnuke. But as per my knowledge this may be done with help of skin.
About Point 3, Yes we can build our custom registration module where we can hide or show by checking user is authorized or not.

Thanks
