Hi Guys,

The "Form and List" module is great, and has certainly saved me from having to re-implement our legacy Form Builder stuff now that we've switched to DNN.

I do have an issue with Form and List though, and this is the absence of any ability to add structural markup to the form. e.g. I have a registration form which has section headers throughout, it also has a section of inserted HTML that describes particular instructions for the final field into which the user has to enter "I AGREE".

I have gotten all of this working by adding Text fields with markers in, and then using JQuery to insert the appropriate static content, also converting the text fields to hidden fields. This works a treat, and now the client wants to be able to copy and edit the form configuration, which clearly won't work (unless they can program simple Javascript).

What I really require is static fields that can be used with standard features such as specifying a cssClass etc. And I think that given the array of fields that are already available, this could be implemented (at least from an admin view standpoint) by adding "Read Only" checkbox to the configuration view. i.e. Text would become a paragraph, HTML would become a DIV, Image would become an Image, and so-on.

Failing that, as a programmer, I would be able to use XSL to lay out Forms if the module would output appropriate starting point files, but I can only use XSL for the List view - obviously that wouldn't meet my clients requirement for self editing.

Anyhow, what are your thoughts on this?

Cheers,

Mark
