Edward,

  As of the latest stable release 06.01.02 this bug still existed.  I'm getting the new 6.1 beta up and running to see if it may be fixed there, but I haven't heard of it's integration at this time.  Hope this helps.  If I hear differently regarding the beta or find differently myself I will post an update here.

Version 6.1.5 still has this error but the fix is here http://dnnblog.codeplex.com/workitem/20789 and it works.

A fix is available in the 5.0 release of the Blog module (the module is no longer included w/ the DotNetNuke distribution, nor is any other module that isn't 'core').
