Hi,
I've run into a problem with our site that has 4 portals and was recently upgraded to vs 5.6.1 (238)
I want to export a portal templete so I log-in as host user > Goto Host menu > select option 'Portals'
Now the portal list shows up fine.

When I now click on the option 'Export Portal Template' at the bottom, I get a blank page.
The URL in the browser addressbar shows:
http://www.planet-winner.eu/Host/Portals/tabid/17/ctl/Template/mid/321/portalid/0/Default.aspx
But this just shows the website with banner on top and menu, but for teh rest the screen is blank.

Anyone had this before ?
Inay idea on a fix ?

Hi Erik,

Indeed there's an entry in the Event log.

hmm, this can't be the correct error, since no mails are sent during portal export. The one you have might occur during portal creation though.

Hi,
I seem to have exactly the same problem: I click "Export Portal Template" and I'm sent to a blank page: skin only. No error is shown and no error appears in logs (DNN and Windows). I've recently upgraded to V 05.06.03 all the way up from V4.x (we were locked in V4 for a long time by incompatible third party modules).
Problem is I have no clue of how to start figuring out what may be wrong: I've looked at what happens via systernals processmonitor and couldn't spot anything promising, it looks like DNN is symply loading an empty page with the control ribbon on top.
Any pointer on where to look would be highly appreciated.
Thanks,
Sergio
