Thanks for the follow-up.

Both servers are in the US so I wouldn't think that was it. But, no big deal. The reason I need the [Created by] column in the first place is that I need to export a csv file from the data when the survey it contains is complete. And I will require that the csv be sorted by which user entered which row of data.

Since it's UDT version 3.05.01 there is no csv export. So, I'm going to export the db to an XML file (which will contain all of the columns). I will then import this XML file to an F&L incidence running a newer DNN installation. Since the [Created by_UDT_Original] works with the F&L installation, I will just add the calculated column before exporting to csv.

It's a workaround, but I'll only need to do it once ;-)
