I develop a module for which I have to know the friendly url for the current page in order to store it in the database in order to use it in the future. I use the NavigateURL but it does not return the whole URL. The url that I see in the address bar of my browser is the following:

http://localhost/dnndevelopement/Home/Test/tabid/64/language/en-US/ProductID/12/Default.aspx

My module gets the following address when I use the NavigateURL() function.

http://localhost/dnndevelopement/Home/Test/tabid/64/language/en-US/Default.aspx

As you can see the NavigateURL does not return me the ProductID with its value. Can someone tell me how to get the browser address of the current page?

Thanks in advance

To get the raw output of a url, you can drop something like this in your skin:

<% if UserController.GetCurrentUserInfo().IsInRole("Administrators") then %>

Page Raw URL: <%=Request.URL.ToString %>

<% end if %>

The key part is the request.URL.ToString

Hope that helps

I have done it but the problem with this way of getting the URL is that it does not return the friendly url. The URL that I get is the following:

http://localhost/DNNDevelopement/Default.aspx?TabId=64&language=en-US&ProductID=12

I want to get the friendly URL because I am going to use it in order to build the site map of my site so it has to be the same with the one appears in the browser address box.
