Hi,

I have a single page in my site that always redirects to the home page when I try to access it. The page doesn't have any redirection configured on it although I have noticed that the "Permantly redirect" checkbox was ticked. Removing the checkbox  has no effect on the result.

The page used to work, but I have added portal aliases, removed some, and changed the default portal alias, now the page redirects each time I access it.

The redirect type is revealed as a 302 Object Moved - the sever sends an html body appropriate to this HTTP status. I have recycled my app pool at the server AND cleared the cache on my browser - I have even used a browser that has not seen the site before and the redirect is still there, so I am confident that the behaviour as seen is being exhibited by DNN and not Browser or Cache etc.


How can I find out why this page is redirecting? It would be helpful to know where to look on either Admin/settings area, or within the underlying database.

More on this,

Changing the name of the page showed that the page could be accessed, and that no actual page settings were causing the redirect.

On changing the page back, the redirect started again.

I'm still pretty sure that this wasn't cached in the browser - does DNN have some form of cache for pages that are redirected that works on the textual value of the URL?
