Hi

I have not tried this before, But I have seen in some other third module they have implemented in a way, provide an interface in your company website for adding domain name and generate random license code which need to be placed in the license settings of your module. Then In your module code behind you can validate that given license code.

Thanks

Mridul

Just small recommendation about licensing per domain:
1) Be sure to include one free license for client for local testing for localhost.
2) Be sure to add extra license for www. prefix. It is very common when www.site.com and site.com point to the same website. So be carefully, because if you provide license for site.com, but forgot about www.site.com it can make customer unhappy.
3) Usually customers have more then one domain per DNN portal. Clients can add as much records to the PortalsAliases as they like. In this case your module will work for some of them and will not for other.

As for me, i would like to recommend to use license per DNN installation or per DNN Portal.

Hope this helps!

Sergey

Sorry Mridul,

I do not have any code of those third party modules. You need to provide an interface in your website where the client who will purchase license need to register their IP address. So that you can mach currently the module hosted in IP is registered or not. I think this can be achieved through a webservice.

Thanks
