Hello everyone, I'm currently on the process of crafting a mobile skin for a already running DNN site and I find myself with a particular issue. Since I've opted by creating a custom menu, and the pages are not going to have any JS functionality, I want to remove as much JS as I possibly can (but it has to be dynamically, because I cant ACTUALLY change the main site configurations).
With that in mind I started to review the DNNs JS files loaded by default, and I noted that both jquery and MicrosoftAjax.debug.js are the biggest JS files to be downloaded.
Is there a way to programatically avoid this files to be downloaded?

Tnks a lot on advance.

you may download JQuery from a CDN, see Host Settings instead from local source, but both files are actually needed.

tnks for the quick reply Sebastian. I'm not planning to administrate the site from the mobile device, nor login or anything, and the site content is basically only html. With that in mind, is AJAX and jquery still necessary for DNN to run?

Tnks again

FYI disable debugging in web.config to reduce size of MicrosoftAjax.debug.js
