email sending issues are usually caused by sending email address or SMTP server settings. are you able to send emails from Admin : newsletters?

Sergey,
I am a bit further now. When unchecking the RENDERING box in form.ascx  (module settings) the file is correctly uploaded to a directory on the site, but the e-mail is not send. I get the "Error when sending the email. Please try again later." message. Please help me with this, thank you very much!!

Rob

Can you check these things also:
1) Go to the "Host/Host Settings" and scroll to the "SMTP Settings". There is button "Test SMTP" - please click on it, it should show "Email sent successfully" or something like that. If any errors - then please post here.
2) Check settings of the module you use. Some modules (very rare but its possible) use own SMTP settings or something like this. We have not used Helferlein Form before, so would be good to check it too.

Hi Robbert,

I checked it and it was a bug in the module.
I've fixed it for you and all works ok now.

Hi Björn,

just wonder what you have fixed... (I would like to fix it in the original module)

Best wishes
Michael
