Hello..
We're looking at using the events calendar for our intranet website.

When an event is created, I receive the e-mail about the event being created; which is good.  I'm logging into the Portal using a Host account to create the event.

The intranet site uses Active Directory Authentication for it's end-users, so I can log into the intranet site using my domain credentials and I see the site as a normal user.  If I go to the event and tell it to remind me 30 minutes before the start time (was testing using this afternoon; 3pm event, notify @2:30), the reminder time comes and goes and I don't receive any sort of e-mail.

The host account and my domain account share the same e-mail address so if I log out and log back in as the host account, I see that "I've" setup the reminder for the event.

If I look at the EventsNotification table, it shows the information, the notifybydatetime for when I should have received the e-mail, but the Notification column is reporting a zero '0'.

Am I missing something?  Thanks.. -Jeff

Hi Jeff,

I assume you mean the NotificationSent column? Can you check that the DNN Events scheduled process is running correctly. It will show you in the Host/Schedule dialogue.

Cheers
Roger

DOH!  Wow do I feel stupid..

Yea, the job is configured to run every hour..  So the last time it ran, I created the event AFTER it completed its run and configured the notification for 3pm..  So the notification wasn't sent out at 3pm..  The job was kicked off again (not sure why) at 3:26pm, and this is when I received the notification e-mail..

All appears to be working fine..  Just being a little over-zealous with configuring test events and notifications..

Thanks.. -Jeff
