Hi, on a DNN 05.06.00 (459) we are using the links module (4.0.1) and for some strange reason, some url's are stored twice in the URLTracking table.
this happens when selecting or deselecting the open in new window option.

Can anyone help me with this?

It seems to be some kind of a bug for the URLTracking.
The URLTracking is based on:
- moduleid
- url
- portalid

So if you would enter the same url as two seperate links, and one opens in a new window, and the second opens in the same window, the module will not know which item in the URLTracking table belongs to which link.

Marnix, this is a known limitation of url handling in DNN, a better approach would be storing it as LinkClick parameter, but LinkClick has been introduced after open in NewWindow, urlTracking and UrlLogging.

Cheers from Germany,

Right... and deleting the link will not delete the item in the URL tracking table, which is another bug I think...
