Trying to install 5.6.2 ... DB connection is ok; File read permissions return SUCCESS ... but immediately after that I get the error "Server cannot set status after HTTP headers have been sent."

This sounds suspiciously familiar but I'm not really finding any helpful resource. What might cause, and how do I fix?

most likely there is some widget or other code trying to modify output during rendering. any chance to get details from Events table in the database?

Had a similar problem when the user associated with your application pool does not have permission to access the asp.net temporary file area.
Might be worth looking at this.
