what is the proper procedure to generate a xml sitemap using dnn 05.06.01

www.mysite.com/sitemap.aspx  will generate an xml sitemap for your site - this is the link you should give to google and other site indexes - it is generated dynamically every time its called so it is always up to date with all the latest information.

thank you ... i actully created a page called sitemap.aspx which shows a user friendly sitemap ...

what is my best option?

rename the page i created, so the original sitemap.aspx should work...

or ...

can i tell dnn to generate the sitemap to a different page..

you should rename your page and allow DNN to create a sitemap.aspx for search engines.

I renames the page to site_map.aspx ... when i try to go to

http:www.mysite.com/sitemap.aspx

i get a 404 error .... i checked /portals/0/ this folder does not have the sitemap folder ...

please help
