Hi,
is it possible to create a new user account from an external app (I suppose it could be done)...
I have a form where the user can create an account for another webapp and I need to store this same account on the dnn database.
Is there a special api?
I tried this from this blog http://dnchannel.blogspot.com/2008/08...
But I got an {"Cannot register or retrieve components until ComponentFactory.Container is set"} error.
The dotnetnuke.dll version is 5.3.1.7.
My first step is to generate a encrypted password conform to the dnn.
Any help?

Regards,

Have a look at
http://iwebcf.codeplex.com/
You can expose the create user functionality of DNN through a WCF web service and post to the service running inside your DNN site.
