Hi, I was recently involved in writing a small application within a dotnetnuke website. The application is made up of multiple modules over multiple pages.

Now I've come to the stage of deploying this solution to another instance of dotnetnuke. I'm not sure how to go about this. All of the pages and modules are contained within a single parent page.

Could someone please suggest to me how to go about this or point me in the right direction?

If the module is already installed on your target installation, you can move the modules to specific pages by:

1. Select Module Settings from the action menu
2. Expand the Page Settings section
3. Expand the Advanced Setting section
4. Using the Move to Page drop down list, select the page you want to move this module to
5. Click update.

If the module is not installed on the target installation you need to prepare it for installation on the target site. Got post on Michael Washington's site about that here: http://adefwebserver.com/DotNetNukeHELP/DNN_PackageModule/Default.htm

To deploy the module itself you need to create a module install package.
To deploy the content - you would need to extend the iPortable interface and export the contents of the module in the standard dnn export format.

http://dotnetnuke.adefwebserver.com/D... has some guides to doing this:
