Hello!
I just started adding required field validation controls to one of my modules. In FireFox 1.5.0.3, it puts up a dialog box stating "A script on this page may be busy or it may have stopped responding." Then I can either stop the script or try and continue. When I take out the validation control, the page posts fine. With the validation controls, it does seem to work in IE for some reason.

In some related posts, some thought that it was due to the "webresource.axd" file and the "DoPostBackWithOptions" jscript call.

Has anyone seen this behavior?

Thanks
Harold

I found out that this was caused by my copy of "CuteEditor". I replaced it with a plain text box and it worked fine. I found it by using one of the free javascript debuggers (Venkman) available for FoxFire. I was able to step through the code and see the hangup.

It turned out to be very easy for me to switch to FCKEditor.
