Hi.

As my company is using Exchange Online, i know a "little" about it.

You can use it with a "full licence" account (not the deskless-worker!) after you request to enable POP3 for that account via the Microsoft Online Service Ticket System. Only then you have access to the smtp-server which you need.

But be careful, as Microsoft forces you to change the password every 90 days, you must be aware that you have to change it from time to time.

Cheers

Kai

Hi Kai, As a matter of interest could you please give me n example of settings used & any tricks to remember. We are trialling Office 365 which to my understanding has pop, smtp enabled by default. You can even go in to a users account in OWA settings & it will give you the settings to use. I've done thi & when I test it won't work. Thanks again Todd

Unfortunately i haven't tested it yet on my own. Allthough we in Germany have to wait a little until we can switch to Office365.

I would suggest, that you test receiving and sending with a mail-client like outlook or Thunderbird. When this works, your smtp works as well.
Then maybe there are some special settings in DNN as host to enable it. I guess it might be something with the kind of authentication.

Good luck.

Kai
