Hi

Working on a new site that will be available in 3 languages so allt he content the menu and the moduletitles etc. And thought people mijght want to know how to do this too ;)

http://schwingsoft.04.websecurestores.com/Home/tabid/36/language/en-US/Default.aspx

menu : hardcoded unordered list menu with the localized content done by apollo-software MLSkinHelper

moduletitles : standard ascx containers with call to the localzed content instead of standard dnn moduel title so the moduletiles also change with content.

Its not complete by far but its a start to show that its possible, i will fillw ith other multicontent modules later. This is just to show off that what theysayy could not be cone can indeed be done ;)

I've worked on a site with their ML modules, they are ok if you have a implementation scenario where you mostly "static" content (annoucements, html, basic faq...) - if you have a case like that they work are solid.

Yeah but if you have a ml site it mostly is static conntent and for that its perfect now wil more dynamic modules it would be tricker but then again I wouldnt do that site the sae way. The weblog part for instance will be just english but its nce to have the abillity to make static content site full localizable especially with that mlskinhelper I now finally ahve the localized moduletitles

Well this is true and not true :)

I found that foreign clients want to have everything ML - including the blogs, on rare ocassions I get a request to build a fairly static site that is ML. That said, the most problems I have are with the News Articles module - most of the sites use it for news, and it doesn't support this kind of functionality.

Please do not use this forum for discussions - please move over to the localization forums for that purpose.
