I am purely wondering if this is a bug and how to fix. When I changed the require unique email to true in the web.config. It would not let the host user access the site. I had to change back to false. Then I was able to access the site once again. could this be a bug that needs fixing. If so were do I report the bug to as I could not find a bug forum in the list of topics in this forum. :) thanks Sal

May be your hosts email has duplicates? Did you check? Its easy to check with SQL query like this:

SELECT UserID, UserName, FirstName, LastName, Email, DisplayName
FROM {databaseOwner}{objectQualifier}Users
WHERE Email IN
(
SELECT Email
FROM {databaseOwner}{objectQualifier}Users
GROUP BY Email
HAVING COUNT(Email)>1
);

 This Query shows all users with duplicated emails. Before switch to "uniq email" you probably need to make all emails for your users uniq.
