I am trying to understand why after I select Remember Me at login that I am not able to logout of the site.  I have to clear cookies to be able to logout.  Is something new happening with the Remember Me option in version 5 vs version 4 or some type of a web config issue.  Thanks Chris

I haven't seen it not let me logout before, sounds like your cookies might be bad. Does it happen on multiple browsers/machines?

Yes it is not working in any browsers.  If I delete my cookies I am good of course but hard to tell others that is the solution for our website.  So it must be something that I have setup in my webconfig then that could be throwing this off I am guessing?  Is there anything special going on with the remember me option now compared to 4?  Since I just upgraded might not be finding post on this topic if this is old new to DNN 5. I did not notice the problem before since I never use it because I am always changing who I am logged in as.

I have done some more digging and figured out what is going on but now how do I solve it. I have tied two DNN systems together by using subdomin cookies. .dotnetnuke.com for example is what should be set in the cookies. When I check the remeber me it set the cookie to www.dotnetnuke.com instead of .dotnetnuke.com when you just login as normal. How is this getting set differently than when you just basically login? Where in the source should I start to look into this issue.

I figured it out. Need to add domain to the forms in webconfig. Since all my other cookies were set to the domain this one was the only one that was different.
