Is it possible to create a  web service in my DNN site that I could call to login users? I have already read about the IWeb module that Michael Washington created but on the codeplex website it says that id doesn't work with DNN 5.4.2. What I am trying to do is this:

I have a program that runs in windows. When the program is opened the username and password that is stored in the program would then be passed to a support website that runs DNN the webpage is opened and the user is logged in. I thought that the best way would be to add a web service to my DNN site that can accept the username and password verify and then login.

Is this possible?

If so how can I tap into the DNN authentication?

Thank you

Paul
