Hello..
I have a skin which when viewed in IE9, it's document mode is set to IE7 standard mode, so the view of the skin isn't correct.

How do I change this so the webpage is viewed in the higher document mode?

I added a index.doctype.xml file, and set this for XHTML 1.0 Transitional along with the Host settings for XHTML 1.0 Transitional.

Thanks.. -Jeff

Is the name of your skin "index.ascx"?

I think I may have resovled the issue.

In the index.doctype.xml file, below the DOCTYPE line, I added the following:

I've tested this on three different machines running different IE versions and the odd issues I was having disappeared.

The real will be when the people which I've worked on their website for, tests it without any issues.. ha-ha..

Thanks.. -Jeff

AFAIK that line should not make any difference and be ignored.
I'm guessing it is something with the content you had in the doctype.xml file..

Did you do a HTML validation test on the rendered page and check the doctype?
