Hello,

I am trying to use the blog module so that all registered users can create a blog. I tried changing the permissions, and it seems like the only way give a user permission to post a blog, is to give them permission to be able to edit the module as well

Is there a way to make the blog module multi user? and if not, is there another blog engine that will?

Best,
Mike

no, when you place the module on a page, a number of modules appear, one will show "create my blog", to all users in Roles granted to create blogs.

How would I create that role?

you create a role in Admin :: User Roles and need to assign edit permissions for Blog_new module (in module settings).

Sebastian, perhaps you can help me out. I too want to have a multi-user blog. However when my users login, they don't even see any of the blog modules on my blog page. I have setup the View/edit permissions correctly, according to the Online Manual on this site. I have created a post:

http://www.dotnetnuke.com/Resources/Forums/tabid/795/forumid/92/threadid/418215/scope/posts/threadpage/2/Default.aspx

Can you please review and comment, thanks.. btw I have setup a temp admin account on my site for you (or anybody willing to troubleshoot this), the URL and login info is located in the post mentioned above.

Thanks!
