We are using a standard DNN 04.09.04 installation, due to new UK regulations coming into force on May 25th about the use of cookies on websites, our customer wants to know whether cookies are used and what the plan is to meet the regulations if they are in use.
We think they are only used if the remember me on login/register is clicked, can anyone confirm this.

Hi

I think you will find that this legislation covers all the EEC and not just the UK.
Basic info and links to more coverage is here http://www.cookielegislation.com/

for activity on this subject.  One definite thing to look for is if you have the google analytics module installed - you would definitely need to declare that.  The more I look into it, the more I believe that DNN really needs this functionality added as even a basic login cookie seems to need to be declared under this legislation.
