Hi Scott,

Thanks for your reply sorry if sometimes I seem like I am getting my nickers in a twist but over the past 4 years I have tried to get more involved and all that seems to happen is good intentions. I have my own team now so we are working on some third party solutions and a new website to bring DNN to the Masses charging only for hosting and maintenance on a portal based DIY solution. I am in Alpha testing myself at the moment so when it is ready I would like to hear any off the DNN teams views.

First please let me say thanks to the core team for all your hard work.

Second can anyone give me any documentation on the control panel and admin and host pages as my programmer says it would save him hours so he would not have to trawl thought the code.

Please let me know if you have any info that would be of help as we are working on some major changes that the community maybe interested in in the future.

Thanks
Paul

Paul, I am not sure there is any documentation that can really help your developers here. As for the control panel, its basically developed like a module but does require a couple updates to be installable  (view the existing 2 control panel options to understand more). As for the Admin and Host menu, these are really treated like normal dnn pages with the exception of the menu filtering them out and putting them on the control panel as links (and a DDR menu for all child pages). If the developers ask more specific questions, it might be easier to get the answers for you.

Thanks I have sent everything to my developer and hopefully he can do something with it.

Hopefully version 1 of our new control panel should be ready soon it just simplifies the view of everything and then version 2 will show the radical changes we want to implement.

Thanks
Paul
