This is odd.

I'm working on skinning a new site and removed both the Admin and Host pages from displaying in the menu.

Now, when I go to the Host page it is completely blank under basic features. The admin page seems intact, everything there, but nothing under host. Using the ribbon bar I can get to host settings and other host items there, but under superusers I don't see my host account. I cannot add a superuser either only an admin. I double checked and I am logged in with the host account.

There are no pages or modules in the recycle bin.  Just bizarre. Any ideas or suggestions would be appreciated. Version 5.6.1

Thanks

Rich

What method did you use to remove the items?  Is this a fresh install or upgraded from a while ago?

Hi Lance,

I just went to the host page and unchecked the include in menu check box.

Apparently this is a known bug and I've been able to fix it by reading this post. In the tabs table of the database the Portal ID for Host was changed to 0. I changed it back to NULL and the host page displays properly again.

Thanks

Rich

Excellent. I was going to suggest looking at this script too: http://www.dotnetnuke.com/Resources/Forums/forumid/108/postid/377142/scope/posts.aspx
