I recently upgraded my DNN 4.9.5 site to DNN 5.2.3, as the first step getting to 5.6.  We have one odd problem on the production site:  in some browsers the "save", "cancel" and "preview" buttons in the TEXT/HTML module don't work.  We can edit the text in the module but can't save changes.

On my personal computers, I can save module changes in FireFox but not in IE8.  My fellow administrator can't save module changes in either FireFox or IE (I'm not sure about her version of IE).   Since she lives 15 miles away, it's not easy to go look at her settings and besides I don't know what to look for.

Does anyone have an answer for this problem?  I strongly suspect this is somehow related to security settings and Javascript.  I can't find any obvious problems with the settings in my IE8 Internet Options, but it still doesn't work.

Definitely in Edit mode.  I was able to click on the Edit Content link, open up the rich text editor, and make changes to the content.  But when I clicked on Save, nothing happened; same when I clicked on Cancel.  I tried Preview and the preview content didn't change to show the changes I'd made.  I had to exit using the Back button.

We're using a commercial skin, In Skin - Light Purple Color Variant, from Cyberspace Solutions.  We're using whatever rich text editor comes with the set - is it the FCK editor?

I suppose there could be some issue with the skin code, but in fact, today my colleague and I both found that what was not working is now working, so it has fixed itself and we don't know why :(
