I wonder if the blog version 4.6.2 is compatible with the version of DNN 4.9.0

From what I can tell, the latest version of the DNN Blog module is actually 04.01.00 which at a minimum requires DNN Version 4.6.2. I located these details on the following page: http://www.dotnetnuke.com/Community/Extensions-Forge/Module-Blog.aspx

Based on this information, you should be able to use the latest DNN Blog module with your version of DNN.
