First want to apologize for this newb question....but I can't figure it out.

I have a domain - www.roughedgedevsite.com

I have a DNN install at www.roughedgedevsite.com/dotnetnuke/

I want it so that when you go to www.roughedgedevsite.com it actually takes you to
www.roughedgedevsite.com/dotnetnuke/Home.aspx

Is there a way to do this via aliases? Or is this an install issue. Should I have installed DNN at www.roughedgedevsite.com instead of www.roughedgedevsite.com/dotnetnuke/?

Thanks
AP

Personally I would move it up to the root of your website if you have the ability to do that.

Do you have access to IIS?

If so, point to WEBSITE folder to that directory where you have DNN installed, you'll want to add an ALIAS to DNN for your domain name www.blah.com before you make the IIS changes.

A quick fix would be a default.htm or index.htm file in your website root with the refresh meta tag in it with time set to zero:

<HTML>
<HEAD>
<META  HTTP-EQUIV=refresh CONTENT="0;url=http://YourWebSite.com/dotnetnuke/Home.aspx">    (Note the Home.aspx , or default.aspx, is optional)
 </HEAD>
</BODY>
</HTML>

If this file also has other content within it, that content will display while DNN loads up...  The refresh meta tag goes right after <HEAD> and other content after that.  The timer is set to 0 (immediate); 15 would wait 15 seconds then hit the target url.

Go to www.indianlakepa.us to see in action...
