Any thoughts?

How can I edit the text in an Account Login module on my login page? I currently have aditional text directly under " Forgot Password?" which I would like to remove.  It must have been added directly through the code at some point. Unfortunatly, I cannot recall.

I have done a complete search in the code as well.  I also looked through under Admin the Languages specifically login.aspx & everywhere else with no luck.

It has to be something easy I forgot!
Many Thanks
Darryl

Look at ASP.Net  Login control. I think thats what is used by default in login module. If you have specific requirements for your login process and text, then you may have to do some custom implementation of login module. Check out following post and see if it helps.

How to write custom DNN login module?

Hi Darryl

You do not need to do any work on the module itself. All the text you see is "localised" to allow the use of different language text in modules etc.

 As Admin or Host.
Admin Menu / Languages. (There is a lot getting loaded with this feature so sometimes you need to be a little patient.)
Click the edit icon for site in the static resources column on the right which will load the editor.

Using the tree control open Local Resources / admin / Security / App_Local Resources and you should see a list of all the editable text.

Sometimes you have to search a little to find the localised text you need to edit but it is worth getting familair with this feature anyway so it is not a waste of time.
Also. While most modules also allow text to be edited here you can also open any modules App_LocalResorces folder and edit in text editor.

 Hope this helps
