Today I have had a first try on the new Version 6 (beta). Nice work at all!

One little thing I noticed: After hitting the Login-Button, I got an empty new window. After a few seconds the UI elements are shown. At the first moment I thought something is wrong, so it would have been better to see this blue running circle in the empty window to notice me that there is work in background.

Same thing with admin settings. When I hit the "save" button to save my work, for my feeling nothing happens. After a while the dialog closes and everything is fine. In DNN5 where you don't have the dialog style this is now problem but with a more windows like UI this feels disturbing.

So, in result: no error here, but an enhancement would be fine !

Best wishes from Germany

Hey Torsten,

Thanks for the feedback. I have one question. Does the delay you're seeing happen every time or did it happen only the first time after the upgrade?

Hi Israel,

good point... I started up my Virtual machine again to have a look at and sorry, but I can't reproduce what I told you before! Everything works smart and fast as it should be. So could this be a first initialization fill the cache thing  ?

Now I see the effect when hitting the  "save" - button that everything becomes outgreyed. So there is now a visual feedback that I didn't saw before.

Sorry about that! And again: Very good work!

Best wishes from Germany

I noticed the first issue also. It seems during the first time only. Still.. a progress indicator needs to always show anywhere when part of the screen is wating for an update. In the future, the user might experience slowdowns for whetever reason. This is just a good user experience practice. Don't let the user think.
