i would like to know please.  how do i add a picture with some text and a read more link.

i want only that administrator add this news. and none registered users and registered user to read. and not to see the editor.

 

i tried the html/text editor but when i logout and just browse the page. i still see the editor.

For a news section use the announcements module or, more advanced, get free Articles module from www.efficionconsulting.com

Pay attention, when setting up the page and the modules:

  • In page settings, if you grant "edit page" permission to a role, all members are able to add and edit modules and module settings, as well as creating sub pages
  • In module settings, granting "edit module" usually allows all members of that role to add and edit content to that module.
