Hi,

Recently installed Links 6.0.0 on DNN 5.6.2.

I use the old Links module in conjunction with the Child Page List module which can display an icon against the link and I added that icon to the Links module for consistency of appearance.

The only niggle was that the Child Page List module indents links whereas the old Links module didn't (at least not on my skin) so it did look a bit odd. However, Links 6.0.0 does indent, so my first thought was great!

However, Links 6.0.0 adds a bullet icon as well as the existing icon against links.and I can't see a way of getting rid of the bullet icon.

I could, of course, replace all the Child Page List modules with the new Links module and I will do that if necessary although the Child Page List module has the function to include/exclude invisible pages (not included in the menu) and sub-pages which Links 6.0.0 doesn't appear to have (unless I'm missing a trick).

Basically, I'm hoping for a quick fix on the bullets.

OK, I've just realised that the bullet icon and indenting only display in Link Mode, no bullet or indenting occurs in Menu Mode.

It's disappointing that all modes don't display in the same format (unless my skin is to blame).

I have a need to display page links and links to external sites on the same page and it's not very professional having different formats.

I could use Links 6.0.0 in Link Mode with the bullet for everything, albeit a bit more work involved.

However, if anyone has a trick for removing the bullet icon in Link Mode, that would be ideal.

Ermm ... I'm ready to go off with the men in white coats

The bullet icons have now gone , I'm just seeing the original icon and the link is no longer indented.(which actually is a disappointment).

Oh, well, I now have what I started out with, so status quo .

On the plus side, I like that you can now view links by role and the view order is a great improvement.

Would be nice to have the option to add an icon in Menu Mode though.

Must learn to restart after installing new modules, I guess.
