I am currently running DNN 5.6.0 and Ad Authentication 5.0.2. I am attempting to sync roles from AD to DNN. It is working properly on my dev server but no luck oon my advanced test and my production.

I have attempted to clear the cache on all users that are in the test role I created and the roles syn on only the dev environment. All three environments are idenctical with the exception of urls.

Any help would be great.

Can you try using impersonation in your web.config on one of the systems it's not working on? It's odd, I know, but I have seen where one system needed it and another didn't.

Mike,

This is slightly off topic, but I'm wondering if you can explain what underlying user directory scheme DNN uses? I'm wondering if it's AD or LDAP underneath? If not, are there modules that would allow you to expose the DNN user directory using either AD or LDAP to authenticate users into something like onelogin.com?

Kurt, it uses ADSI underneath and is primarily aimed towards AD type connections. I'd have to look at what onelogin is using but, to clarify, are you wanting the provider to mimic onelogin's ability as a single-signin service or to act as a type of plugin for single-signin?
