I have the same problem, however this suggestion doesn't work: it navigates directly to the login page without showing the message about the confirmation code having been sent. Furthermore the "Redirect after registration" drop down list only shows pages that are "Included in the menu". This is incorrect.

I am having an issue where a new user regiesters and all the information goes to the database, but an email is not being sent to the user. I have changed the SMTP setting and still am having this issue.

The email address you have assigned to your Admin account is the email address that the system will attempt to use.
It will also attempt to use this email address as the send from email address.

You will need to verify that your smtp server is allowing emails to be sent from this email address.
